Due to winning a number of key projects in Sydney and Brisbane, a mid to large Pharmaceutical client are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmaceutical Construction Site Manager to oversee and manage the construction of pharmaceutical facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all construction activities are carried out in compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and project specifications. The Pharmaceutical Construction Site Manager will work closely with project stakeholders, contractors, and vendors to achieve project objectives within the agreed time frame and budget.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise all construction activities on pharmaceutical projects, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and quality standards.
- Manage and monitor construction schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders, architects, engineers, and contractors to develop and implement construction plans and strategies.
- Review and approve construction drawings, specifications, and other technical documents to ensure compliance with regulations and project requirements.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and regulatory guidelines.
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
- Resolve any construction-related issues or conflicts that may arise during the project.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all construction activities, including daily progress reports, change orders, and project records.
- Provide regular project updates to senior management and stakeholders, including progress reports, budget analysis, and risk assessments.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in construction management or engineering is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Construction Site Manager on large Pharma projects ($200m+).
- In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical construction processes, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Strong site management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures, including GMP and Safe Work standards.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Willingness to travel to construction sites as required.
