Job Title: Medical Equipment Planner
Salary: $100k - $130k
Location: Fully Remote (with travel to project sites as necessary)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive medical equipment plans for healthcare facilities, ensuring alignment with clinical needs and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and healthcare providers to integrate medical equipment planning into the overall project design and execution.
- Conduct equipment needs assessments, preparing detailed reports and recommendations for procurement.
- Manage the selection, specification, and procurement processes for medical equipment.
- Oversee installation, commissioning, and validation of medical equipment in coordination with project timelines.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, technological advancements, and regulatory changes affecting medical equipment planning.
- Provide expert advice on space planning, budget management, and equipment lifecycle management.
- Ensure seamless communication between all stakeholders, facilitating successful project outcomes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 year's experience in medical equipment planning within a consultancy AEC firm or healthcare system.
- Proven track record of successful project management and equipment planning for healthcare facilities.
- Strong understanding of clinical workflows and the operational impact of medical equipment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Proficiency in medical equipment planning software and other relevant tools.
- Ability to travel to project sites as necessary.
