Job Title: Medical Equipment Planner
Salary: $130,000 - $150,000
Location: Remote with travel to project sites across the United States
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed medical equipment plans for healthcare projects, ensuring alignment with client requirements, budgets, and project goals
- Evaluate existing medical equipment inventories and provide recommendations for replacements, upgrades, or reallocation
- Coordinate with clients, vendors, and contractors to ensure the successful procurement, delivery, and installation of equipment within project timelines
- Advise on compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations to maintain safety and functionality in healthcare environments
- Represent the firm in client meetings, site visits, and presentations, ensuring effective communication of project updates and addressing any client concerns
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering, healthcare administration, or a related field
- 7+ years of experience in medical equipment planning, ideally with a consultancy AEC firm or within a healthcare system
- Comprehensive knowledge of healthcare facility design, medical equipment standards, and regulatory requirements
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
- Ability and willingness to travel nationally for project assignments
