A dynamic organization is seeking a mechanical engineer with a degree and a passion for quality-driven work. The role involves collaborating with engineering and architectural teams from conceptual design to construction and commissioning of various facility projects.
Position Summary: Deliver project objectives, including scope, schedule, and budget.
Responsibilities:
- Perform engineering calculations and assessments.
- Lead field investigations, HVAC load studies, energy modeling, and code reviews.
- Produce and ensure quality control for mechanical/plumbing design documents.
- Oversee junior engineering staff and perform quality control reviews.
- Coordinate designs with client specifications and code requirements.
- Address complex design and construction issues.
- Serve as project manager on various projects.
- Monitor schedules, budgets, and manpower requirements.
- Develop project management plans, pricing, budgets, and schedules.
- Participate in client presentations and marketing efforts.
- Manage staff and subconsultants.
- Develop extra work order requests and proposals.
- Assist with marketing proposals.
- Provide leadership and performance management to team members.
- Proactively solve problems and take initiative.

Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering.
- Valid Driver's License.
- 12+ years of specialized experience.
- Experience designing HVAC and plumbing systems.
- Professional Engineer License.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
