Mechanical Project Manager
We're currently seeking a Mechanical Project Manager for a design build firm headquartered in Florida. This role involves managing all business aspects of multiple concurrent projects, ensuring financial targets are met while maintaining high-quality standards. The Mechanical Project Manager will supervise and mentor assistant project managers and project engineers, maintain strong customer relationships, and manage activities related to materials, budgeting, and production.
Position Responsibilities:
- Oversee multiple projects, ensuring financial goals and quality standards are met.
- Supervise and mentor assistant project managers and engineers.
- Maintain strong customer relationships for satisfaction and high-quality service.
- Manage materials, budgeting, and production activities.
- Plan and allocate resources to meet project milestones.
- Serve as the main contact for customers and staff, handling scope changes and issues.
- Manage project correspondence and documents through designated systems.
- Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and best practices.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of project management experience with a mechanical contractor, preferably in commercial or multifamily projects.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Commitment to excellent customer service.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and efficient.
- Willingness to travel up to 25%.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
- Experience with project management software (e.g., Oracle) and estimating software (e.g., Accubid) preferred.
- Experience with remote project management preferred.
