A Texas based firm with roots in Houston are seeking a new region leader as they continue to expand market share. This engineer will have the ability be lead on regional strategy and business pursuits. The firm has also seen their team continue to produce and a work from home flexibility option is being developed for all current and new team members.
The Managing Director will be responsible for:
- Developing, preparing, and engaging in strategy for the long term success of region
- Providing technical expertise and advisement to both internal and external stakeholders
- Attending interviews with public entities for project proposals and ongoing project updates
- Mentoring and guiding the direction of leadership across the region and maintaining relationships with public sector clients
- Ensuring all projects are in compliance with deadlines and standards implemented by regulatory groups are met
The properly qualified candidate will possess the following:
- BS in Civil Engineering
- Texas PE (or ability to obtain in 6 months)
- TxDOT Pre Certifed (if applicable)
- 12+ years' experience across design and planning traditional schematic and PS&E
- Proven track record of project success with key stakeholders internally and externally
- Proficiency in any of the following: Microstation, Geopak, and Open roads
The selected candidate will have the ability to develop and drive their own built out strategy with the support the other regional leaders within the firm.
