Position Overview:
They are seeking an experienced Air Quality Project Manager to oversee a diverse portfolio of air quality projects. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of air quality projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage air quality projects, including air pollution control, emissions inventory, and compliance assessments.
- Develop project plans, budgets, and schedules, and ensure adherence to project milestones and deadlines.
- Coordinate project activities with internal teams, clients, regulatory agencies, and subcontractors.
- Conduct technical analyses, data interpretation, and reporting on air quality issues.
- Provide expertise and guidance on air quality regulations, policies, and best practices.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and challenges to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies.
- Mentor and support junior staff members and foster a collaborative work environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in air quality management, including project management responsibilities.
- Strong understanding of air quality regulations, including the Clean Air Act, EPA regulations, and state/local air quality standards.
- Proficiency in air quality modeling software and data analysis tools.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven track record of successful project delivery and client management.
- Experience working with diverse stakeholders, including government agencies, industry partners, and community groups.
