As a Commercial Superintendent, you will be responsible for the on-site management and supervision of commercial construction projects, ensuring that they are completed safely, on time, and within budget. You will collaborate closely with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to coordinate construction activities, resolve challenges, and maintain the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide on-site leadership and supervision of commercial construction projects, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and quality standards.
- Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure efficient and timely project execution.
- Monitor project progress, budgets, and schedules, and proactively identify and address any issues or deviations.
- Conduct regular site inspections to enforce safety protocols, quality control measures, and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Collaborate with project managers to develop and update project schedules, budgets, and progress reports.
- Communicate effectively with clients, project teams, and stakeholders to provide updates, address concerns, and ensure client satisfaction.
- Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, RFIs, and other project-related paperwork.
- Foster a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and accountability among project teams and subcontractors.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction projects.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and supervising commercial construction projects from start to finish.
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, building codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage teams and build positive relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
- OSHA 30-Hour Certification (preferred).
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
