Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Lead Construction Superintendent to oversee and manage construction projects valued at over $100M. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully leading large-scale projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Oversee all on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are completed according to design, schedule, and budget.
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of construction professionals, including subcontractors, laborers, and site supervisors.
- Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure all work meets or exceeds industry standards and client expectations.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and ensure all team members adhere to safety regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
- Resource Allocation: Coordinate the delivery and use of materials, equipment, and labor to optimize project efficiency.
- Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing any concerns or issues.
- Problem Solving: Identify and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during construction, ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including daily logs, progress reports, and change orders.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction management, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role overseeing projects valued at over $100M.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as OSHA, PMP, or LEED are highly desirable.
- Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge: In-depth understanding of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations.
