About the Role:
As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will lead the analysis, design, and assessment of new and existing structures, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality projects. You will oversee junior engineers, engage directly with clients, and provide expert technical guidance across a diverse portfolio, including commercial, residential, institutional, and industrial structures.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, analysis, and evaluation of structural systems for new construction, retrofits, and renovations.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and client expectations while ensuring the highest standards of engineering excellence.
- Provide mentorship and technical oversight to junior engineers and project teams.
- Conduct site investigations, forensic evaluations, and structural assessments.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to develop practical, cost-effective solutions.
- Prepare and review calculations, reports, and construction documents in AutoCAD, Revit, and structural analysis software.
- Stay up-to-date with local building codes, regulations, and industry trends.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of structural engineering experience.
- Licensed PE in Washington (SE preferred or ability to obtain).
- Strong background in the design of steel, concrete, wood, and masonry structures.
- Proficiency in structural analysis software (SAP2000, ETABS, RISA, RAM, etc.).
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
