My client is seeking a Lead Remediation Project Engineer who is a problem-solver and remedial strategist with practical experience in various remedial technologies and equipment. Responsibilities:
- Design small and large-scale remedial systems to address soil, groundwater, and vapor contamination for sites regulated under CERCLA, RCRA, and state programs.
- Prepare remediation feasibility studies, design basis reports, remedial action plans, and cost estimates.
- Design and lead pilot studies and field testing for various/emerging contaminants.
- Provide data compilation and analysis, database management, statistical evaluation, and modeling.
- Review existing data and develop a strategy to fill data gaps and determine the remedial approach.
- Manage O&M of remedial systems, operational data collection, and troubleshooting.
- Participate in the design of process/facility engineering projects and industrial wastewater systems.
- Oversee and manage subcontractors.
- Write and review technical reports.
- Communicate with clients, regulatory agencies, vendors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
- Execute other tasks such as SPCC Plans, SWPPPs, permit applications/compliance reports, Brownfields assessment and rehabilitation, and remedial system construction management.
