A leading EPC is looking for a Lead Electrical Engineer to support large scale Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). In this role, you will have the opportunity to operate as a technical expert or in a supervisory capacity. This role involves independently developing and implementing advanced engineering methods to solve unique challenges. The engineer may oversee project teams on moderately to highly complex projects or act as a technical consultant.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provides proactive guidance on design guides, standards, systems, and relevant engineering codes.
- Assists in the development and maintenance of engineering standards.
- Offers technical advice on various projects and disciplines.
- Applies knowledge to ensure compliance with quality programs.
- Establishes processes that promote a culture of quality.
- Supports continuous improvement and change management initiatives.
- Prepares complex engineering deliverables for multiple or large-scale projects.
- Conducts research and makes recommendations for equipment and materials.
- Manages data collection and analysis for engineering tasks.
- Performs complex engineering calculations and manages project budgets, schedules, and quality requirements.
- Leads production teams and coordinates multi-discipline activities.
- Coordinates with internal and external team members on complex projects.
- Defines project schedules for single or multiple disciplines.
- Identifies key client interests and communicates them to project teams.
- Develops approaches to address client needs and supports business development activities.
- Acts as a technical expert, providing consultation and guidance on complex technical challenges.
- Advances knowledge management and mentors team members.
- Participates in professional societies and contributes to industry standards.
- Oversees performance management, career development, and training for team members.
- Implements resource management strategies and resolves conflicts.
- Manages engineering resources for small groups.
- Ensures effective implementation of policies and procedures.
- May handle administrative tasks such as approving timesheets and expense reports.
- Acts as a project manager, overseeing project teams that vary by project.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited program.
- 11+ years of relevant work experience.
- Ability to complete pre-employment requirements, including background checks and drug screening.

- Experience in planning, delegation, and conflict management.
