Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Landscape Architect Project Manager to lead and oversee the planning, design, and execution of landscape architecture projects. This role combines creative design expertise with strong project management capabilities to ensure successful delivery of projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management:
Manage all phases of landscape architecture projects, from concept to completion.
Develop project scopes, budgets, timelines, and resource plans.
Coordinate and communicate with clients, contractors, consultants, and team members.
Design Leadership:
Lead the creation of innovative and sustainable design solutions.
Oversee the preparation of conceptual plans, construction documents, and presentations.
Ensure compliance with local regulations, codes, and best practices.
Client Engagement:
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, building and maintaining strong relationships.
Present design concepts and project updates to clients and stakeholders.
Address client feedback and ensure their vision is realized in the final design.
Team Coordination:
Lead and mentor junior staff, providing guidance and support for their professional development.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, planners, and engineers.
Quality Assurance:
Conduct site visits to monitor project progress and ensure quality standards.
Troubleshoot issues and implement solutions to keep projects on track.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field.
Licensure: Registered Landscape Architect (PLA/RLA) or ability to obtain licensure within 12 months.
Experience: Minimum 5 years of professional experience, including project management.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of design principles, site planning, and plant materials.
Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, and GIS tools.
Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with large-scale urban or commercial projects.
Expertise in sustainable design and green infrastructure.
Familiarity with construction processes and cost estimation.
