Job Requirements: Landscape Architect - High-End Residential and Commercial Projects
Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Landscape Architect to join our team, specializing in designing and managing high-end residential and commercial projects. The ideal candidate will bring creativity, technical expertise, and a strong understanding of luxury landscapes, working closely with clients and interdisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional outdoor spaces.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop innovative and sustainable design solutions for high-end residential and commercial landscape projects.
- Prepare conceptual and detailed designs, construction drawings, planting plans, and specifications.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and consultants to ensure seamless integration of landscape elements.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, maintaining the highest quality standards.
- Conduct site analysis, including topographical surveys, soil assessments, and environmental impact studies.
- Lead client meetings and presentations, effectively communicating design concepts and project progress.
- Oversee project implementation, including site visits and coordination with contractors during construction phases.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited program.
- Experience:
- 3-7+ years of professional experience in landscape architecture.
- Proven expertise in designing and managing high-end residential and/or commercial landscape projects.
- Skills and Competencies:
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino, Lumion, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong hand-drawing and rendering skills are highly desirable.
- Comprehensive knowledge of hardscape, planting design, and sustainable practices.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Strong client relationship management and communication abilities.
- Licensure:
- Licensed Landscape Architect (or ability to obtain licensure within 12 months).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with local zoning, permitting, and environmental regulations.
- Experience with luxury residential estates or boutique commercial developments.
- Knowledge of irrigation systems and lighting design.
