Job Title: Land Development Lead
Location: Nampa, Idaho
Salary: $140-170k
Position Overview:
This national engineering consultant is seeking an accomplished Professional Engineer to lead our Land Development division in Nampa, Idaho. The successful candidate will bring extensive expertise in site design and permitting, coupled with a proven history of managing both clients and team members effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct land development projects, team operations, and client engagements.
- Coordinate with government agencies to ensure regulatory compliance and secure required permits.
- Supervise grading, drainage, utility infrastructure, and roadway design projects.
- Create and review lot layout designs.
- Explore and develop business opportunities within the local market.
- Develop project scopes and prepare fee estimates.
- Oversee invoicing and maintain timely payment processes.
- Work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary engineering environment.
- Stay informed on construction practices and industry standards.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) License in Idaho.
- 10+ years of relevant experience in site design and permitting within the region.
- Demonstrated success in managing client relationships and team members.
- Strong leadership and mentorship capabilities.
- Excellent networking and business development skills.
- Superior communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Highly self-motivated with the ability to initiate and manage project tasks independently.
