Job Title: Construction Project Manager (K-12 Projects)

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager with a strong background in managing K-12 construction projects to join the team of one of Texas's largest general contractors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all phases of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Scheduling: Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets for K-12 construction projects.
- Team Coordination: Lead and coordinate project teams, including architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, control costs, and ensure financial efficiency.
- Compliance: Ensure all projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including safety and building codes.
- Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with clients, school administrators, and other stakeholders.
- Quality Control: Oversee quality assurance processes to ensure project deliverables meet or exceed expectations.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management, with a focus on K-12 educational facilities1.
- Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Certifications: PMP, CCM, or similar certifications are preferred.
- Knowledge: In-depth understanding of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations
