Job Title: Purchasing Agent
Location: In-person, Winston-Salem, North Carolina
Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 per year

Job Summary: They are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Purchasing Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in purchasing, ideally with specific experience in software conversion and system integration. This role requires someone who can work in our fully integrated software system, BuilderMT, and assist with the transition to a new software system by Heifen.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and update the purchasing system daily, ensuring all estimates and prices for building materials and services are accurate and up-to-date.
Assist in the creation and management of budgets for various projects.
Work closely with the purchasing department to support procurement activities.
Facilitate the transition from BuilderMT to Heifen, ensuring a smooth software conversion process.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure all purchasing needs are met efficiently.
Maintain accurate records of all transactions and provide regular reports to management.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a purchasing role
Proven experience with software conversion and system integration.
Proficiency in BuilderMT or similar construction management software.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and efficiency.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in the construction industry.
Familiarity with Heifen software.
