Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Interconnection Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience navigating interconnection requests across various Independent System Operators (ISOs) and Regional Transmission Organizations (RTOs), including ERCOT, SPP, MISO, and others. This role requires a strong background in Electrical Engineering and expertise in Transmission Planning, utilizing software such as PSS/E.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate interconnection requests and processes with multiple ISOs/RTOs.
- Analyze and evaluate interconnection requirements and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate smooth interconnection processes.
- Utilize PSS/E software for transmission planning and analysis.
- Prepare and present technical reports and documentation.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to interconnection and transmission planning.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in navigating interconnection requests with ISOs/RTOs (ERCOT, SPP, MISO, etc.).
- Strong background in Transmission Planning and familiarity with PSS/E software.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
