About the Role:
We're looking for a talented Instrumentation & Controls Senior Designer to join our team in the Refining, Chemical, Power, and Pharmaceutical industries.
As a senior member of our design team, you'll take the lead in delivering high-quality engineering projects, contributing to the growth of our company and making a real impact.
What You'll Be Doing:
๐น Collaborate with project managers and engineers to develop creative and efficient design concepts
๐น Lead a team of designers and ensure the successful completion of plant infrastructure projects
๐น Prepare detailed CAD drawings in compliance with project specifications
๐น Conduct site visits to assess conditions, gather data, and communicate findings to the team
๐น Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations
๐น Evaluate design options to enhance functionality and cost-effectiveness
๐น Provide technical expertise to resolve construction and design challenges
๐น Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and best practices
Key Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in instrumentation & controls design
โ
Proficiency in AutoCAD & Microstation
โ
Strong knowledge of P&IDs, control panels, loop diagrams, and field instrumentation
โ
Expertise in low voltage (600V and below) electrical design concepts
โ
Experience with industry standards such as ISA, NEC, IEEE, and NEMA
โ
Ability to lead and mentor a small team of designers
โ
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
