Job Overview:
The Director of Operational Technology is responsible for managing the day-to-day functions of the Operational Technology division. This role involves direct interaction with customers across multiple industries, requiring strong representation of the company while overseeing the development and implementation of processes that ensure successful project execution at client locations.
Working closely with the Project Management Office (PMO), department managers, sales team, and executive leadership, this position ensures Operational Technology (OT) projects are delivered efficiently and align with customer expectations. Additionally, the director plays a key role in strategic planning, resource management, and ensuring divisional operations align with the company's overarching goals.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Plans and directs engineering team activities.
- Manages engineering staff, ensuring project goals and performance objectives are met.
- Recruits and hires additional team members as needed.
- Conducts timely and constructive performance evaluations.
- Provides training, guidance, and mentorship to staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborates with the Chief Operating Officer and Director of Automation Engineering to establish long-term operational and automation strategies tailored to the organization's objectives.
- Leads the development of new products from concept through testing and production.
- Works with the marketing team to assess market potential for new products.
- Oversees project timelines and ensures deadlines are met.
- Reviews project reports to confirm adherence to budget and schedules.
- Handles additional responsibilities as assigned.

- 8-10 years of relevant experience in the field.
