Job Overview:
The I&C Engineering Supervisor plays a key role in managing a team of I&C engineers and overseeing the technical execution of projects. This full-time, hands-on leadership position is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of the team, including recruitment, training, mentoring, and performance management. Additionally, the supervisor ensures the quality of engineering deliverables and collaborates with other team leaders to meet project requirements, timelines, and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
Resource Management: Identify and allocate engineering resources, coordinating with project managers to meet deliverable schedules and project needs. Regularly review resource allocation and project timelines to ensure efficient operations.
Team Leadership: Motivate, guide, and mentor a team of engineers. Conduct performance reviews, provide development plans, and identify training opportunities. Handle employee performance issues and initiate corrective actions when needed.
Operational Oversight: Review and approve timesheets and track paid time off (PTO). Ensure team members adhere to departmental standards and policies.
Business Development: Contribute to proposal efforts by developing budgets, identifying resources, and creating project timelines. Support recruitment efforts and help onboard new hires.
Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth execution of projects. Assist in business development and maintain client relationships.
Deliverables & Quality Assurance: Ensure the completion of I&C engineering deliverables that align with company standards, and support the broader team in interdisciplinary project coordination.

Work Schedule:
Hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday (with flexibility based on workload).
Overtime: Occasional evening, weekend, or overtime work may be required based on project demands.
Qualifications:
Education: A Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or related field is required.
Experience: At least 10 years of experience in engineering, with a minimum of 5 years in a management role. Experience working on multidisciplinary teams is essential.
Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, advanced problem-solving skills, and proficiency in tools such as HYSYS, Unisim, ProMax, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Leadership: Proven ability to lead and manage teams, resolve conflicts, and support team members' development.
Supervisory Role:
The position oversees the work of at least two full-time employees or their equivalent, making decisions about hiring, performance management, and other personnel-related actions.
