Our client is a growing US based renewable energy owner/operator/developer that currently focuses on utility-scale solar, wind, battery energy storage and additional conventional power generation assets.
This is an exciting opportunity for any project engineering management professionals who are eager to take on more responsibility in their day to day and join a smaller/mid-size firm where they will be able to take more ownership on large-scale projects and gain visibility to other aspects that go into the project lifecycle. From day one of this role you will get to work on one of the US' largest solar & energy storage projects totaling over $2 billion.
This position can sit 100% remotely in the US.
The ideal candidate will have…
- 5-10+ years of renewable energy/utility-scale experience.
- Experience taking projects from mid-stage development through project financing whether that be in a project engineering or project management complexity.
- Previous experience supporting or leading negotiating of EPC agreements, risk mitigation for projects, exposure to working with project finance teams.
- Experience with high-voltage systems & projects.
- Comfortable working with external stakeholders such as interconnection service providers, lenders, construction managers, engineers, etc.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering and/or coming from a good technical background with understanding of all things engineering & design related.
The preferred candidate will have…
- Experience supporting development engineering.
- Experience coming directly from another IPP/developer.
- Experience working on multiple technologies - wind, solar, energy storage, etc.
