Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Highway Project Manager to lead and oversee highway infrastructure projects in Lexington, KY. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering and project management, with a focus on highway and transportation projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all phases of highway project development, from initial planning and design through construction and project closeout.
- Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies to ensure project requirements are met.
- Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
- Oversee project teams, including engineers, technicians, and subcontractors.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant standards, codes, and regulations.
- Conduct regular project meetings and provide updates to clients and senior management.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
- Prepare and review project documentation, including reports, plans, and specifications.
- Monitor project progress and performance, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- 8+ years of experience in highway design
- Project Management experience is a plus
- Strong knowledge of highway design and construction practices.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as needed.
