Summary:
A Top 25 ENR Rated Heavy Civil & Transportation Contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager in New York City. They currently have a 4-5 year project throughout all five boroughs of NYC and are seeking a Project Manager with a strong background in MTA and/or other Rail/Transportation agencies along with DOT or bridge experience.
Salary:
$175,000 - $200,000
Responsibilities:
- Managing and directing the project team by providing the communication, coordination and follow-up necessary to meet project goals and objectives.
- Maintains ongoing training and mentoring of project team.
- Coordinates training and compliance measures to ensure project procedures are followed.
- Directly responsible to senior management.
- Provides ongoing project information and reviews as required by management.
- Ensures scope of work, schedule and budget are clearly defined and understood by senior management and all project participants, including the client
- Determines, controls and maintains overall project and discipline schedules and budgets.
- Identifies and secures necessary approvals for all changes in project scope, budgets and/or schedule.
Qualifications:
- B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field experience
- Heavy Civil construction background with 10+ years field experience
- Experience managing multiple Project Engineers
- Safety Oriented - OSHA 10 & 30 Hour certificates are preferred
- NYC DOT, NYS DOT, and MTA experience strongly preferred
