We are seeking an experienced Heavy Civil project engineer or project manager who can assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of complex civil construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.. As a vital member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of complex projects that enhance the region's infrastructure.
The Project Engineer or Project Manager will be responsible for:
- Oversee all aspects of on-site construction activities for civil projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
- Collaborate closely with other project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
- Develop and implement detailed construction plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitor progress to meet project milestones.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate field crews and subcontractors, promoting a culture of safety, quality, and productivity.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify and address potential issues, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Manage project resources, including equipment, materials, and manpower, to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Foster positive relationships with clients, regulatory agencies, and local authorities, ensuring open communication and alignment with project objectives.
- Uphold strict adherence to safety protocols, environmental regulations, and industry best practices.
- Prepare and deliver regular progress reports and updates to project stakeholders.
The Project Engineer or Project Manager should have the following qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in heavy civil construction
- Proven track record of successfully supervising and completing complex construction projects.
- Strong understanding of construction techniques, scheduling, and budgeting.
- Professional certifications or licenses related to construction and project management are advantageous.
