Position: Heavy Civil and/or Water Treatment Project Manager
Location: Seattle, WA
Salary: $140,000- $180,000 + Bonus(s)
Overview: This leading general contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager specializing in Heavy Civil and/or Water Treatment projects to join their esteemed team in Seattle, WA. This role will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of complex construction projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a proven track record of successful project management in the construction industry.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all phases of the project lifecycle from initiation to closeout, ensuring adherence to project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Coordinate and collaborate with project stakeholders, including engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and regulatory agencies.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and quality control measures to achieve project objectives.
- Monitor and control project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost tracking.
- Resolve project issues, conflicts, and disputes in a timely and effective manner.
- Communicate regularly with clients to provide project updates and address concerns.
Experience Needed:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management, specifically in Heavy Civil and/or Water Treatment projects.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently with varying complexities.
- Extensive knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment.
- Experience with project scheduling software (e.g., Primavera, Microsoft Project).
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and environmental considerations in construction.
