We are looking for a mechanical foreman experienced working on healthcare, data center or commerical projects for a reputable mechanical contractor.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and Coordinate: Oversee the work of mechanical staff and subcontractors, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely
- Maintenance and Repair: Ensure the maintenance and repair of mechanical systems and equipment
- Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety regulations and quality standards
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage the mechanical team, providing guidance and support
- Scheduling: Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures
- Reporting: Prepare and review reports on mechanical work and project progress
Qualifications:
- Experience: Proven experience as a Mechanical Foreman or similar role
- Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems and machinery
- Skills: Strong leadership, team management, problem-solving, and organizational abilities
- Technical Proficiency: Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints
- Education: Typically, a relevant degree such as in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
