This function has delivered consistent and impressive growth since its inception, now boasting a team of over 150 specialists across its 4 key practice areas and the delivery of 30% year-over-year growth in profitability for the last 6 years. As such, their visionary technical and operational leadership have been tasked with scaling this practice further, while actively pursuing the most challenging and exciting projects in existing structures and avoiding the 'churn-and-burn' that has become increasingly common with the rise of private-equity in the AEC market.
They are actively seeking a Market Leader for Florida in Forensic Engineering line to leverage the backing of a highly reputable business, established team of technical experts in the state, and their own knowledge of the industry, business development acumen, and client network to spearhead the growth of this function to the next level. This is a target growth area for this practice and the role would entail identifying and pursuing new client types and market locations, generating projects for their existing staff of engineers and architects, representing the business at industry-networking events, as well aiding the team in their technical responsibilities and establishing more personal relationships with nationwide clientele and in marketing these services to their own network, with more local/regional clients.
This is a hybrid role with 1 day a week in-office at either of their locations in Orlando or Miami.
Key Credentials:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering.
- Professional Engineer's (P.E.) License in Florida.
- 8+ years of technical experience in forensic analysis, litigation support and expert witness services, across a wide range of project and loss types.
- Strong interpersonal, sales, business development, and marketing skills.
- Ambitious nature and proven ability to work and collaborate with teams.
- Established client network of insurance carriers, adjusters, attorneys, contractors etc.
- Transferrable book of business that exceeds $500k p/a in revenue generation.
