Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Building Automation Systems (BAS) Technician to join our clients in Richmond, Virginia. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Niagara Framework and a strong background in HVAC systems, energy management, and building automation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, program, and maintain BAS systems, with a focus on Niagara Framework.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and upgrade BAS components, including HVAC, lighting, and security systems.
- Perform system start-ups, commissioning, and software updates.
- Collaborate with clients, engineers, and contractors to ensure seamless integration and operation of BAS systems.
- Conduct regular system inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
- Provide technical support and training to clients and end-users.
- Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, changes, and service activities.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience with Niagara Framework and related BAS technologies.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including heat pumps, boilers, air handlers, and chillers.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing BAS components.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant certifications or training in BAS and HVAC systems are preferred.
