My client is looking for a Field Service Engineer for the EV Charging Station Business Unit Project Management Team. This is a core position for technical support in the field of charge stations in a business unit that promotes the development of charging infrastructure development, which is key to the spread of EVs as a key part of decarbonization and GX.
Job responsibilities:
This is a position to comprehensively manage and lead the establishment, implementation, and management of an operation and maintenance (O&M) system for further business expansion.
- Operations related to installation and maintenance of super-quick chargers for EVs (preparation for commissioning, etc.)
- Operations related to commissioning and acceptance inspection (operation explanation, etc.)
- Management, supervision, and guidance of contractors and other subcontractors
- Defect handling and troubleshooting (identification of causes and early restoration activities, including cooperation with development and system divisions)
- Product quality improvement activities (feedback of market defects to the manufacturing division and lead in eliminating defects)
- Safety confirmation at work sites and implementation of accident prevention measures
- Support for establishment of field technical service system
Requirements:
- Readiness and enthusiasm to enjoy and lead the GX and Mobility transformation
- Experience in electrical construction, installation and maintenance of electrical equipment
- Fluent Japanese communication skills to work with stakeholders in multiple departments
- Welcome skills or experience of electric vehicles or quick chargers
- Welcome any electrical license: Class 2 Electrician or Class 3 Chief Electrical Engineer
