We are looking for a skilled Environmental Planner to join the team at an employee owned consulting firm and support a variety of projects related to SEPA/NEPA environmental reviews, land use permitting, and market research. This position is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in environmental planning who is interested in technical writing, research, and project management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and support SEPA/NEPA environmental review projects, including preparation of Environmental Impact Statements (EIS), EIS Addenda, and Environmental Assessments (EA).
- Conduct technical writing, research, and analysis for environmental review documentation.
- Oversee and collaborate with sub-consultant teams on project tasks.
- Build and manage client relationships, develop proposals, and create marketing materials to help secure new business opportunities.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Planning, Geography, Environmental Studies, or a related field.
- 5-10 years of experience in SEPA/NEPA environmental reviews and/or planning.
- AICP certification or other relevant planning certifications are a plus.
- Strong technical writing, research, analysis, and proposal development skills.
- Experience in client development, building relationships, and marketing.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
- High attention to detail.
Salary Range: $85,000 - $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
