Core Responsibilities:
- Assist with structural design under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Support CAD drafting and Revit modeling tasks, adhering to project requirements.
- Supervise drafting tasks and perform back-checks for quality assurance.
- Conduct structural assessments, damage investigations, and prepare repair design recommendations.
- Write comprehensive reports detailing findings and repair solutions.
- Perform site visits, requiring occasional climbing of ladders, working in tight spaces, and transporting equipment (up to 20 lbs.) over short distances.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on structural design.
- Completion of Steel and Concrete Design coursework.
- Practical experience in structural analysis, design, and assessment (internships, co-ops, or related work experience).
- Proficiency in CAD and Revit software.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and in collaboration with senior engineers.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for report writing and client interactions.
- Must be willing and able to travel to sites as required (site visits constitute 15%-30% of the role).
