Job Title: Electrical Engineer

Requirements:
Bachelor of Science in Engineering
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
Over 10 years of experience in project engineering for electrical systems, building electrical systems, and central utility plants
Expertise in healthcare, government, commercial, manufacturing, and/or education sectors
Preference for candidates with healthcare experience
Proven track record of working in integrated teams and mentoring junior members
Leadership experience in a consulting team
Proficient in quality assurance and quality control reviews of drawings
Advanced knowledge of electrical engineering systems, calculations, and construction methods
Familiarity with analysis tools for electrical system design
Skilled in electrical specification development and writing
Experience with Revit and BIM; Arc Flash knowledge is a plus
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Responsibilities:
Supervise the preparation of technical drawings and assessment reports, including development of typical details, specifications, and drawing standards
Stay updated on industry trends and technology advancements, recommending changes as necessary
Provide design inputs and review team members' projects for quality assurance, quality control, and adherence to best practices
Offer technical support and project communications to the team
Participate in team meetings to resolve project issues and coordinate with other disciplines
Conduct site visit surveys to document and evaluate existing systems, and determine engineering strategies
Visit project sites during construction to ensure compliance with specifications and standards
Review and respond to "Request for Information" and "Submittals" during construction administration
Attend and participate in Owner-Architect-Contractor meetings
Communicate with other disciplines, vendors, and contractors to ensure project requirements are met
Mentor less experienced engineering team members and foster a positive team environment
Support Business Development efforts, including writing up key project aspects and presenting work at industry events
Collaborate with Marketing to prepare RFQ and RFP packages
