Job Description:
This position is responsible for the design, development and installation of control systems through the integration of instruments, controllers, and interface devices to monitor processes and control systems. Programming and start-up of control systems with control logic implementation and HMI configuration. Planning and extensive interaction with Client, Contractors, and Project Management Team to meet delivery schedule is required.

Education:
- Associate Degree in Engineering Technology, Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Industrial or related field (preferred)
Position Requirements:
- Provide technical leadership and support to Plant Operations and Service Technicians in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, problem resolution, and optimization of existing electrical controls, instrumentation, networking, PLC, HMI, servo, controls, networking systems, industrial computer systems, motor control, distributed control systems, and other automation.
- Electrical, PLC, HMI and SCADA support for control systems.
- SCADA and PLC code programming and trouble-shooting.
- Complete testing and troubleshooting of electrical circuits and panels to diagnose problems as needed.
- Provide technical knowledge and decision-making capabilities to troubleshoot and repair a variety of electrical, instrument and control systems.
- Provide field service for customer service calls.
- Provide Start-Up Reports from field commissioning of PLC Control Panels and SCADA and service reports.
- Ability to effectively communicate with project management as well as contractors, sub-contractors, engineers, site-managers and vendors.
- Make PLC and SCADA system changers per Engineering requests.
- Stay current with the latest Control Applications and industry trends.
- Assist the Design and Engineering team with developing Control Design Standards.
- Review Controls Submittals
- Perform complete design check of control panel designs, by project assignment
- Estimate cost factors and maintain a budget for contracts, acquisition of equipment, and operating materials, programming site
- Ensure development and availability of training and development programs to meet the needs of the I&C team
Skills:
- CAD Drafting Software
- Electrical principles and processes
- Rockwell Automation Programming
- Schneider Electric Programming Familiarity
- Direct Logic Programming Familiarity
- PLC control equipment
- Ability to produce complex engineering drawings in a 2-D environment
- Understand 480VAC, 120VAC, and 24VDC Power
- Experience in field instrumentation and systems such as RTU, PLC, and SCADA
- Familiarity with specification of industrial and water treatment processes
- Familiarity with P&ID's and PLC Control Logic Programming
- Troubleshoot PLC, HMI and SCADA Software
- Strong oral and written communication and analytical skills
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access)
