Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Director to join our client's dynamic and growing team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing large-scale projects, with a strong background in project management and delivery with a focus on APAC, including projects in Singapore, Japan, HongKong, Vietnam and Australia. This position is based in Singapore.
Projects would include but not limited to real estate in the industrial, retail, mixed-development and data center sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage projects from inception to completion, demonstrating strong leadership and project management skills.
- Conduct and review project feasibility studies independently.
- Possess in-depth knowledge of design, project costing, construction scheduling, and planning.
- Oversee data center projects and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and codes.
- Work closely with teams across different regions, including Japan, HongKong, Vietnam, and others, ensuring smooth project execution.
- Collaborate with developers, having a minimum of 5 years of experience in a developer/owner's side role.
- Manage project budgets, timeline, and resources efficiently.
- Ensure all projects meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
Qualifications:
- 18+ years and above of project management and delivery experience.
- Real estate experience is a must.
- Proven track record of successfully completing projects in Japan.
- Familiarity of Japanese regulations, codes and policies will be a bonus.
- Strong track record of projects delivered across APAC (Singapore, HongKong, Vietnam, Australia)
- Strong leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively.
- Excellent knowledge of design principles, project costing, and construction scheduling.
- Experience working on data center projects is a bonus.
- Must have work experience in a developer.
- Proven ability to manage projects outside of Singapore.
- Fluent in spoken and written English is a must.
