Role Overview:
The Senior Digital Water Solutions Lead will be a key player in revolutionising water management for municipalities and utilities. With extensive expertise in smart water technologies, you will lead initiatives deploying advanced metering infrastructure (AMI), IoT sensors, predictive analytics, and digital platforms. Collaborating with public sector stakeholders, you'll focus on optimising water usage, minimising waste, improving customer experiences, and fostering sustainable water systems.
In this role, you'll oversee strategic projects from conception to execution, ensuring alignment with sustainability goals and successful adoption of smart water solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of smart water solutions to enhance efficiency, conservation, and resilience.
- Provide expert advice on integrating technologies like AMI, smart meters, IoT sensors, and data analytics to boost operational performance and cost-effectiveness.
- Develop and execute digital transformation strategies for water utilities with an emphasis on sustainability and real-time analytics.
- Manage large-scale smart water projects, ensuring on-time delivery within budget.
- Build and maintain relationships with municipal leaders, utility managers, and key partners to ensure project success.
- Support the development of business cases and funding strategies for adopting smart water technologies.
- Mentor and guide project teams to deliver high-quality results and foster professional growth.

Key Skills and Experience:
- Over 10 years of experience in the water sector, with a focus on digital transformation and smart water solutions.
- Proven success in deploying smart water systems, including IoT sensors, smart meters, and data platforms.
- Strong expertise in water resource management, sustainability, and integrating digital technologies for utility optimisation.
- Comprehensive knowledge of technologies for water conservation, leak detection, smart pumping, and water quality monitoring.
- Experience working with public sector clients, municipalities, and water utilities on large-scale initiatives.
- Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to lead teams and manage multi-million-dollar projects.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management capabilities, translating technical solutions into actionable strategies.
- Familiarity with regulatory standards and best practices in water management and digital transformation.
- Experience with agile methodologies is an advantage.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Sustainability, Water Resources Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
