About Us:
We are seeking a highly skilled DCS Engineer with expertise in Honeywell Experion or ABB 800xA systems to enhance and maintain our distributed control systems.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement control strategies using Honeywell Experion or ABB 800xA systems.
- Design and optimize control loops, process control systems, and automation workflows.
- Perform troubleshooting, diagnostics, and resolution of control system issues.
- Analyze system performance and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and reliability.
- Collaborate with engineers and operators to ensure system functionality and performance.
- Conduct system upgrades, configuration changes, and preventive maintenance on control systems.
- Provide technical support, training, and guidance to operations teams on control system operations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Control, or Automation Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience working with Honeywell Experion or ABB 800xA systems in an industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of process control strategies and DCS configuration.
- Experience in the pulp and paper industry is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
