My client is seeking a Lead Controls Engineer to join their team. This role involves leading the automation team, managing project workloads, and ensuring the successful delivery of automation solutions for pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment. Key responsibilities include:
Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor a team of automation engineers.
- Provide guidance and training to enhance team skills.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless integration.
Project Management:
- Oversee project lifecycle from conception to completion.
- Develop project plans, allocate resources, and manage budgets.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to align projects with business objectives.
Additional Responsibilities:
Controls System Design and Implementation:
- Design and implement automation systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Integrate the latest automation technologies into equipment.
Quality Assurance:
- Establish and enforce quality assurance processes.
- Conduct testing and validation of automation systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years in a leadership role within automation engineering.
- Strong project management skills.
- Knowledge of automation technologies and relevant software (Rockwell PLC's, Siemens PLC's, iFix, FactoryTalk)
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements in the pharmaceutical industry.
