Job Title: Controls Engineer

Job Purpose: Design and program DDC Systems by creating project design packages and programming data.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Organize Design Projects: Accept new projects, gather documentation, understand requirements, collaborate with Sales and Manager for scheduling.
- Prepare Design Packages: Complete wiring diagrams, sequences of operation, bills of materials, and schedules as per project documentation and standards.
- Coordinate Turnover to Project Management: Prepare project manuals, transfer unique project data, review information with Project Manager.
- Organize Programming Projects: Accept projects, analyze workload, understand requirements, collaborate with programming and Ops teams.
- Prepare Programming Projects: Create DDC programs, document programming, create project displays, test for proper operation, organize turnover to technicians, follow up on results.
- Coordinate Programming Issues During Construction: Implement DDC/display changes, assist technicians with commissioning, make site visits as needed.
- Ensure System Operability: Assist in onsite performance verification with HBT technician.
- Complete Design Packages: Finalize As-built documentation, archive design backups, distribute documentation, assist with turnover to Service department.
- Complete Programming Packages: Finalize As-built DDC documentation, distribute and archive documentation, assist with owner training and turnover to Service department.
- Maintain Industry Knowledge: Attend workshops, review industry publications, maintain knowledge of electrical and mechanical installation methods, review product specifications.
- Willingness to Travel: Understand the importance of high-profile customers and respond with urgency.
