Project Construction Manager - Renewable Energy
Location: Orlando, FL Area (Hybrid, with some remote work flexibility)
About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Project Construction Manager with a strong Electrical background to lead and oversee the execution of renewable energy projects. In this role, you will manage all aspects of the project's lifecycle from start to finish, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. You will supervise on-site construction activities, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and ensure adherence to industry standards and regulations. The ideal candidate will be passionate about clean energy and possess the leadership skills to guide teams through all phases of project development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations of renewable energy project construction, ensuring quality control and safety standards are met.
- Supervise and coordinate construction teams, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring that all activities align with project timelines and objectives.
- Oversee budgeting and resource allocation, making adjustments as necessary to meet financial and operational goals.
- Enforce compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations, proactively identifying and mitigating risks.
- Communicate project progress, milestones, and challenges to key stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to project teams, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
- Manage project documentation, including permits, schedules, and quality assurance reports, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying areas to optimize project execution and team performance.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in managing complex construction projects, preferably in the renewable energy sector.
- Strong knowledge of solar energy systems and the construction processes involved.
- Expertise in project budgeting, cost control, and construction safety protocols.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire diverse teams.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution abilities.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.
- Relevant certification in project management, construction management, or a related field is preferred.
