This role involves contributing expertise to projects ranging from buildings and bridges to roadways and pavements, providing crucial support in both design and construction phases.
Responsibilities:
As a CMT/Geotechnical Engineer, the duties include:
- Collaborating with team members to ensure exceptional project outcomes.
- Developing project scopes, budgets, and proposals.
- Planning and executing field exploration programs.
- Conducting soil and rock classification and laboratory testing.
- Performing geotechnical engineering analysis and modeling.
- Providing design parameters and recommendations.
- Producing comprehensive engineering reports.
- Managing project schedules, budgets, and invoicing.
- Communicating effectively with clients.
- Conducting site visits during construction for quality assurance.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should possess:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited institution.
- An EIT or PE license, or the ability to obtain a PE license.
- Preferably 2+ years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in technical report composition and review.
- A valid Driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Flexibility for local travel and occasional extended hours.
- Strong communication skills in various formats.
- Willingness to undergo pre-employment screening processes.
