Position: Civil Engineer
Location: New York City Office
Role Overview: We are seeking a Civil Engineer to join our New York City office. This individual will play a key role in designing commercial, residential, mixed-use, and industrial properties, as well as large-scale infrastructure projects. The candidate will work in a collaborative and encouraging environment, contributing to shaping the future of New York.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and modify engineering documents, including reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, cost estimates, and design plans using software like AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
- Assess site characteristics such as hydrology, topography, and geology using record documents, maps, drawings, and aerial photographs.
- Perform site/civil design tasks, including site planning, layout, grading, drainage, utility design, stormwater management, and soil erosion and sediment control.
Essential Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
- 2-5 years of work experience.
- FE/EIT certification preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical, multitasking, and judgment capabilities.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Ability to follow direction and work collaboratively.
- Experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
