CEI Senior Inspector Opportunity in Jacksonville, FL
Our client is excited to announce an opening for a CEI Senior Inspector within our Jacksonville branch. This position plays a pivotal role in upholding and enhancing the quality standards of construction engineering inspections across a wide range of transportation infrastructure projects. As a member of our dynamic team, you will contribute to ensuring the structural safety and compliance of key infrastructural developments in the area.
The primary responsibilities of this role include:
- Strict enforcement of all relevant safety and construction standards to mitigate risks and ensure project integrity.
- Performing thorough field inspections of various transportation structures, including roadways and bridges, to assess and document the quality and safety of construction processes.
- Facilitating effective communication among diverse project stakeholders such as engineers, contractors, and government officials. This role requires meticulous documentation and reporting of all inspection findings to ensure transparency and maintain standards.
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and expertise:
- 5+ years experience working within the Construction Engineering & Inspection space in Florida
- A successful candidate will ideally have experience working on Florida Department of Transportation projects across district 2 and 3
- Hold all relevant certifications expected of someone in a Senior Inspector position
