Role Overview
Seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Building Science Consultant to join the team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building science, with specific experience in concrete restoration. This role requires either an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or a Professional Engineer (P.Eng) designation.
Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments and evaluations of building envelopes and structural components.
- Develop and implement restoration plans, particularly for concrete structures.
- Provide technical expertise in the design, modification, and repair of buildings.
- Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation for projects.
- Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, standards, and regulations.
- Participate in project management activities, including scheduling and budgeting.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in building science.
Key Qualifications
- EIT or P.Eng designation is mandatory.
