Responsibilities
- Perform detailed assessments of building exteriors, including balconies, decks, and façades, to identify structural issues.
- Create comprehensive reports with findings and recommendations for repairs or improvements.
- Work with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to develop and implement effective solutions.
- Assist in preparing project specifications, drawings, and budgets.
- Oversee ongoing projects to ensure they meet design specifications and building codes.
- Provide support for construction management and monitoring services as required.
Role Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Certification: Engineer in Training (EIT) or Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
- Experience: At least 4 years of design experience, with an interest in building diagnostics.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other design software. Strong knowledge of building codes and standards.
- Other Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication abilities, and attention to detail.
