Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections of bridges and related structures to assess their condition and compliance with safety standards.
- Prepare detailed inspection reports outlining findings, recommendations, and necessary repairs or maintenance.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to develop and implement effective solutions based on inspection results.
- Maintain accurate records of inspection data, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide technical expertise and support for the design and construction of bridge projects.
- Stay abreast of industry developments, standards, and best practices to enhance inspection methodologies.
- Position may require the ability to work in the field year-round, with night and weekend work, and travel to New York and/or Pennsylvania.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Valid NY or NJ PE License
- 5-7 years experience in bridge inspection and evaluation
- Completed the NHI two (2) week Bridge Inspector training course and/or NHI Bridge Inspection Refresher course within the last 5 years
- Bridge load rating and experience with LARS and/or AASHTOWare BrR preferred
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
