A nationally recognized engineering consulting firm is seeking a motivated Bridge Inspection Group Manager to oversee bridge and structural inspection teams on high-profile projects. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee a team of 15 inspectors and project managers across large DOT inspection projects (e.g., WYDOT, MDT, CDOT, NMDOT).
- Provide subject matter expertise in structural inspections, scheduling, and client management.
- Act as a Quality Control lead on inspection projects, occasionally traveling to perform field inspections.
- Oversee development and training of Team Leaders and Junior Project Managers.
- Ensure delivery of high-quality AutoCAD and Microstation drafting for inspection reports.
- Lead business development efforts alongside the Regional Manager.
- Supervise technical staff, manage career development, and oversee recruitment.
- Promote safety practices and ensure compliance with health and safety training.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
- PE or SE licensure required.
- 7+ years of progressive engineering experience, including project management.
- Competency in AutoCAD and Microstation for reporting purposes.
