Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Lead Technician to oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of building automation systems, specifically those involving Distech, Niagara, or Desigo. The successful candidate will provide technical leadership to a team of technicians, ensuring high standards of service and operational efficiency. This role will focus on projects within data centers and government facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of technicians in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Distech, Niagara, or Desigo systems.
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring tasks are completed on time and to the required standards.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the team, assisting with complex issues and problem resolution.
- Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and timely completion of projects.
- Monitor inventory levels and order necessary parts and supplies.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
- Manage and execute projects within data centers and government facilities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical role, with specific experience in Distech, Niagara, or Desigo systems.
- Proven experience in leading and managing a team.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of safety policies and procedures.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed.
