Key Responsibilities:
Work closely with the sales team to understand client requirements and propose customized AV solutions.
Design and engineer AV systems, including displays, video conferencing solutions, control systems, and audio systems.
Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations for prospective clients.
Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support, ensuring smooth project execution.
Develop and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and industry partners.
Create and review technical documentation, proposals, and pricing estimates.
Stay up to date with the latest AV industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
Collaborate with project managers and installation teams to ensure seamless implementation of AV systems.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Audiovisual Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
3+ years of experience in AV system design, integration, or technical sales.
Strong understanding of AV technologies, including Crestron, Extron, QSC, Biamp, Cisco, and Microsoft Teams Rooms.
Experience with AV network solutions, signal flow, and system interoperability.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical clients.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Visio, or other AV design software is a plus.
AV industry certifications such as CTS, CTS-D, or CTS-I are preferred.
Ability to travel locally in Maryland for client meetings and site visits as needed.
