Job Title: Automation Engineer

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled PLC & SCADA Programmer to join our automation engineering team. The ideal candidate will have experience in programming and configuring PLCs and SCADA systems for industrial automation applications. This role involves designing, troubleshooting, and maintaining control systems to optimize processes across various industries.
Key Responsibilities:
PLC Programming:
- Develop, program, and troubleshoot PLC systems (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, etc.) for automation projects.
- Implement control logic, sequencing, and troubleshooting for complex processes.
SCADA System Design & Configuration:
- Design, configure, and integrate SCADA systems to monitor and control industrial processes.
- Create HMI screens, configure alarms, and ensure seamless data flow between PLCs and SCADA systems.
System Integration & Testing:
- Integrate PLC and SCADA systems with other automation equipment, including sensors, actuators, and process control devices.
- Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and validation to ensure system performance and reliability.
Documentation & Compliance:
- Create and maintain documentation, including program code, schematics, and system manuals.
- Ensure all systems comply with safety standards and industry regulations.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Control Systems, or a related field.
Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in PLC programming and SCADA system configuration and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or similar PLC platforms and SCADA software (e.g., Wonderware, Ignition).
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of PLC programming languages (Ladder Logic, Structured Text, etc.).
- Experience with SCADA/HMI design and configuration.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex automation systems.
